Recovery plans that meet the objectives of your BIA.

Continuity & Recovery Companion: continuity and recovery plans tied to the objectives of the BIA.

What it does

Plans that know how much time you have, and where to restart from.

The PensieroSicuro Companion module for business continuity and disaster recovery: a plan for every process and one for every asset, with RTO, RPO, MTPD and MBCO read from the latest approved BIA.

01

Objectives from the BIA

The page warns you when the estimated recovery time or the backups don’t meet the objectives.

02

Recovery order

Calculated step by step from the CMDB relationships, with circular dependencies flagged.

03

Tests and activation

Tests and exercises, tabletop ones too, with the actions that come out of them. During an incident the plan is activated and stays in its timeline.

Who it’s for and what you get

Business continuity managers, IT and whoever handles incidents.

  • ✓ Plans tied to the objectives of the BIA, not written separately
  • ✓ The order in which to bring systems back up
  • ✓ Tests, actions and the annual review, all tracked

Why it’s different

Linked to the BIA and the CMDB

Objectives and recovery order come from data you already have.

Part of incident management

It can be activated from the Incident & Resilience Companion, and activation and closure end up in the incident timeline.

It is one of the new PensieroSicuro Companion modules: it is coming soon, and you can already book a demo. It works on the same foundation as the other modules: your organisation and the map of processes, resources and dependencies.

Want your ROSI to grow?

Lowers the cost of an incident. Recovering in the right order, tested beforehand, shortens downtime: fewer hours stopped, a lower incident cost.

ROSI (Return on Security Investment) measures how much risk you avoid for every euro invested in security:

ROSI = (risk avoided − investment) ÷ investment

A serious attack costs the affected company around €300,000 on average (Clusit Report, October 2025); a data breach in Italy reaches €3.31 million (IBM, Cost of a Data Breach 2025). Even with cautious assumptions, recovery plans tied to the objectives of the BIA and tested beforehand lowers the cost or the likelihood of an incident.

How ROSI is calculated

The calculation is an indicative estimate based on assumptions and public data. It is not a commitment, a guarantee of results or a commercial offer.
