Accessibility statement
We want www.pensierosicuronetwork.it to be usable by everyone: with a screen reader, with the keyboard only, with zoom or on a phone. Here is where we stand, without hiding what is missing.
Status
The site is partially compliant with the WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines, the ones referenced by the European standard EN 301 549, because of the limitations listed below.
How we checked it
With a self-assessment carried out in October 2026:
- automated testing with axe-core 4.10.2 on the main pages, in the light and dark themes and, for the pages that existed at that date, in high contrast too, until no errors were reported;
- manual checks: keyboard-only navigation, visible focus, colour contrast, reading on a phone and alternative text for images.
What the site offers
- Three themes, light, dark and high contrast, with the switcher at the top of every page.
- The «Skip to main content» link to skip the menu with the keyboard.
- With the device’s «reduce motion» setting, animations and looping videos stay still; otherwise every looping video has a pause button.
- Tagged PDF product sheets with bookmarks, for reading with assistive technologies.
Known limitations
- The PensieroSicuro Live archive pages and the advent calendar have only been partly checked.
- On the PensieroSicuro Live page, the scrolling supporter strips stop with the mouse or the keyboard, but not with touch.
- We are checking the subtitles of the videos embedded from YouTube.
- The request form is on SecurityPlaza, a separate site with its own assessment.
- The PDF sheets have not yet been checked with a PDF-specific tool.
